"Oh Carolina" is a song made famous by Jamaican rapper Shaggy, released as the lead single from his debut album, Pure Pleasure. Born Orville Richard Burrell, 1968 Kingston Jamaica he later enlisted in the Marines and served during Operation Desert Storm - Persian Gulf. This is where he perfected his signature singing voice.
